Background Checks
Since the time that you have been placed on the waiting list, the Club has begun enacting background checks on all incoming prospective members for added security of our membership. The fee for this will be $20 and the club will pay for this upfront and you will be responsible for reimbursement which will just be added to the total at the time of acceptance to the Club. Please note that you will see a document with the heading “A Summary of Your Rights Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.” We have been asked several times about credit being checked. Please know that the Club is NOT doing a credit check, but a background check does fall under the Fair Credit Reporting Act so that is why that disclosure page is included. For additional questions regarding this background check, please contact our Membership Committee Chair.
