Our sailing class is designed to encourage kids in the sport of sailing through on-the-water instruction. Optis, Bics, and 420s, are used to focus on boat safety, seamanship, boat handling, equipment maintenance, and basics of racing.  Campers will be split into smaller groups based on age, height, and skill level.

There is no experience necessary, and beginners through advanced options are encouraged to join. Each session will be two weeks long and is offered morning, afternoon, and full-day.

Prices are per two-week session
Member full-day price - $600, Member half-day price - $300
Non-member full-day price - $650, Non-member half-day price - $350

Session 1 - June 6th to 17th
Session 2 - June 20th to July 1st
Session 3 - July 5th to July 15th **No camp on July 4th
Session 4 - July 18th to July 29th
Session 5 - August 1st to August 5th

If your child is a young beginner (10 and under) we highly encourage to start with the morning session due to lighter winds during that time. Campers will be able to switch from the sailing class to the adventure class, but not vice verse.

Our adventure camp gives kids the opportunity to spend time on the water while also incorporating on-land activities. Campers will learn the basics of boat and water safety while checking out the scenic Charleston Harbor. Activities include sailing, paddleboarding, shark teeth searching, beach trips, and swimming.

If you are not sure that your child wants to focus on sailing, our adventure camp is a great place to start. Each session will be one week long and is offered morning, afternoon, or full-day.
